Marsya Sophie Irdina – Baby Name Advisor Result

I’ve taken Sophie’s name result from Baby Zone. So what’s in a name of Marsya~ Sophie~ Irdina?? It might have a lot more than most people think. The Baby Name Advisor uses the science of numerology to reveal clues about the name we’ve chosen for our child — and what impact it could have on the future! These are only possibilities, we do not fully depending on it. For FUN ok..Let see…

f2

Marsya Sophie Irdina

Responsible, caring, loving, nurturing, healing and comforting, the name Marsya Sophie Irdina is warm and makes one feel loved and special. Harmonious and peaceful, the name Marsya Sophie Irdina feels good to anyone, but doesn’t call up any particular feeling strongly. Marsya Sophie Irdina is neutral, suitable for those for whom stability and harmony are high priorities.

Good sense of business, but slow and not particularly adaptable. Strong sense of beauty, but not passionate. Idealistic, with a strong sense of justice.

The name Marsya Sophie Irdina makes one feel like a home away from home. It offers protection and love. It takes away anxiety and fears, and heals the broken-hearted. If you want others to feel like this is their home, this is their safe haven, then this is an excellent name.

The name Marsya Sophie Irdina attracts money slowly, predictably, the result of effort and common sense.

Marsya Sophie Irdina’s most positive characteristics: Protective, harmonious, comfortable to all.

Marsya Sophie Irdina’s most negative characteristics: Stick-in-the-mud. No passion. (owh, must educate her to be extra passionate!)

GREAT meaning indeed! So we’ve chosen the right name-to-be-called for her. =)

A note to a D.u.M.b.E.R – Version II

Just imagine!

An unknown guest (uninvited) comes to your house and she simply goes into your living room and gives comment -all crappy things- about your house decoration. With such fault-finding, she keeps condemning the way you beautify and arrange your furniture. She thinks she has used much soft-spoken words to offer advice but inside, you feel like she is giving scornful skepticism and negativity.

Wise people don’t come to others’ house to just leave “humiliation” to the owner, only sick people do that. People don’t use harsh words to advise when she called it an advice. And this entry I dedicate to won’t-stop-comment-my-blog-that-i-dun-want-to-dirty-my-page-with-her-comments-that-she-thinks-are-very-polite-enough! -> English teacher or better known as ET.

I don’t understand why she likes to step in here, even though there are numerous blogs written in English but not to her “Oxford level” expectation, out there. Or could it be, I resemble her student’s look that she hates the most, thus this is a revenge? She was the first started to condemn me and then warned me to not to condemn her? So readers, can you imagine who is “she” ? WTFool

etET is teaching with fire-flash point finger (perhaps)

I can accept sincere critics but not the ruthless ones. Furthermore, this blog is created for fun not a sample for paper exams. So why does she really concerns about the “Oxford level” thingy? Vice versa if you are writing a blog in Bahasa, is it a must for you to use “Bahasa Baku”? Millions of personal blogs in Bahasa Malaysia not using Bahasa Baku and most of them are using urban words which never exist in Malay Dictionary!  I wonder if she steps at nyah-nyah’s (transvestite) blog, will she leave harsh comments, again?

So when it comes to English blogs, you (ET- English teacher) must accept the fact that we (bloggers) have the rights to create our blog in our own ways and our own words as long as we obey the blogging rules (privacy, policy, defamation, and etc). I never receive bad comment from other (except from Totoro regarding circumcision which I have already explained clearly) readers so far. Again please note this is NOT a government portal! I can’t stand writing my blog in robotic style too!

Should I or shouldn’t I call this self-claimed teacher as a teacher? Nvm (oh I must tell u nvm is a short form of nevermind- just to clarify in case the ET again give comment about my words ) this is great, at least I know that I have a so called -loyal-silent-reader. Bukanlah hendak riak, tapi setiap kali major exam I got A in English. To ET, maybe she found my English sucks but for me WHO F*****G CARES?

p/s: Please change she to he if you think ET is ‘otherwise’ gender.TQ.

Sophie’s Burfday Celebration (series of pre celebration)

1. Home Sweet Home
Her burfday was celebrated sharp at 00.00 Wednesday, August 26, 2009. Sophie was sleeping and we gently woke her up…So you can see her sleepy + what-is-happening-now face. She got pressies from Uncle Jake Carvee as well as from her beloved mummy and daddy (my younger sissy in-law and her bf).

She turned to 1! We had breakfast at Chillis and celebrated her 2nd series of small-burfday-bash. It was only me, hubby and elder sis-in-law (Kak Weng). Sophie got pressies again :ZARA Mary-Jane shoes, ZARA lil’ fashionista top and GAP dress..Wow, she was lucky, wasn’t she?

3. TBAS (which will be celebrated today..)

And to all friends, we will arrange Sophie’s Birthday Party after raya, probably on 3rd October 2009, in conjunction with Hari Raya (Open House) and my husband’s birthday (2.10.09). Once confirm, I’ll be announcing it again and definitely you are invited to my cheeky-lil-angie-girl- party. .=)

A note to a D.u.M.b.E.r

Oh my God…I hate to write this because it’s a shitty way to embarrass people that I do not know but had messed up my emotion.

I received a comment from an English teacher (which country? dunno! maybe somewhere outer of civilized people) blaming me for some words I used in my blog! Oh my! Why can’t I use the “aroused” word when definitely arouse has a lot of definitions?

( He/She must be thinking about sex aroused perhaps? eeeeeuuuwwww) . Please check your bunch collection of dictionaries that u used to refer when u need to mark ur students’ books.. It’s not wrong to use ‘aroused’ (- to be awaken from or as if from sleep) in my story context!  What’s the problem of using it? Unless u have a really dirty mind which always think about stimulating sexual desire!  Sex-sex-sex-=Pity u English teacher!

shutterstock_3425499Shut the HELL-mouth up !!

Same goes to – fingered! I know about the oral fingered thingy but in my story it’s clearly shown that they were holding my baby! So, again what’s the problem? Oh teacher, don’t just read porn magazines!

Being an English teacher doesn’t mean u know it all (unless u claim urself Dr. Know-it-all!!).

WTF! opss, don’t fail me, teacher!

MRSM Langkawi batch 99/00 ~ mini pioneers gath

Rushing! That’s the best word I could ever describe before we went to a gathering with my ex edu mates (MRSM Langkawi batch 99/00 ~ pioneers). We were at Jalan TAR KL, Sungei Wang, sent my bro to airport (he went farewell to Kuching) and then back home. Our usual routine to -leave-a-camera-when-in-hurry was still repeated. Sighhhhhh…..

These pictures all taken by Bei, with her great buddy assistant (perhaps his name is Azam~ if I correctly recall, betul ker?). Courtesy also to Hafiz as he has uploaded all pictures in his FB album, thus I only take them for the sake of having an album of our gathering in my FB.

Sophie’s circumcision: PART 2:the process was not hurting!!

Thanks for reading my blog. I got a comment from this person, accusing me as a bad mother because of Sophie’s circumcision. To Totoro and all readers, please note that circumcision in Islam is tocut off only the foreskin (outer fold of skin over the clitoris; the prepuce) and not deeply to the clitoris itself”. Most Muslims perform this sunnah, and  yes we are living healthily and very sexually-well- function. If you wish to get more information about circumcision in Islam,  don’t just waste your GOOGLE…use it to the fullest please!

Now, I wish to continue the circumcision story. Remember in last entry she had floral bath? Yes, after that Sophie and Aira were dressed beautifully like princesses wannabe…Sophie wore a lace-modern-baju-kurung and Aira in pink gown. The theme was pinky chick just right for our both beautiful babies.

pelaminthe pelamin

buain and pelaminthe pelamin and buaian

Mama and Kak Weng (my sis in law) decorated a Pelamin (a low-decorated-stage where I could sit while holding Sophie during the circumcision) for Sophie and a Buaian (a cradle where they put Aira in and recites prayer and selawat while swinging her cradle slowly). I remember doing the same cradle for Sophie when she was 1 month old (for her Aqiqah and Hair Cut ceremony) . So all nite long, me and Kak Weng arranged those garlands. We also prepared two bouquets of bunga telur arranged in proper vases and also goodies packs wrapped in small-pink-boxes. Sophie was  refused to sleep and acted like she was busier than us- moving around, took some of the equipments away from original places and other ultra naughty feats.

As she had a very late sleep, on the next day she slept right after the floral bath until the point to circumcise her. The event started with Aira’s hair cut ceremony since her Aqiqah was done one day earlier.  Aqiqah is a sunnah associated with child birth; the word in Arabic means sacrifice; for the sunnah involves sacrificing a goat or lamb and donating the meat in charity or making a feast to feed the poor and friends. Through this ritual we express thanks to Allah for His most wonderful gift of a new born; it also an opportunity to share the joy with fellow humans just as it accords an opportunity to empathize with the poor and needy and share God’s gifts with them. Hair cut (or shave) is included in this sunnah.

After Aira’s part ended, the time came to circumcise Sophie. I sat on the pelamin and cuddled my sleeping beauty baby. To make sure Sophie not moving during the process, old peoples (which most of them were my husband relatives) were asked to hold her tightly at the same time as I hugged Sophie. A person that responsible to perform the procedure is usually known as Mak Bidan who is also a village nurse that helped women to deliver baby.

Sophie was aroused when the old relatives hold her tightly. That totally made her staggered and cried out loud! Mak Bidan used little shredded turmeric on wet cotton and a very sharp knife. I was very dare to look how it would be, and surprisingly; it was a very short moment- like in a glance. No bleeding at all! Mak Bidan said, the feeling just similar to: “ants bite”. Oh really? I had previously imagined a circumcision would be terribly hurt but seeing Sophie cried in a very short moment, perhaps the process not really hurting!

after circumciseAfter the process.. See it’s not hurting!

Alhamdulliah, everything had run smoothly. Although she had cranky mood throughout the event (as a result of not enough sleep) but she still scuttled (hey teacher, is this correct? (puke, wekkk)) here and there after the occasion.

A little updates here, our Sophie could stand when she was 7 mos and began to walk at 9 mos 3 weeks. She was 10 mos, at the time she was circumcised. Nowadays, she can walk and run very fast making me and hubby extra tired to catch her.

I’ll be updating more stories soon. Gracias.

Sophie’s circumcision: PART 1: Sophie and Aira ~ floral bath ceremony…

2 weeks ago, we flied to Sandakan, yah this is the first trip to Sabah for this year (not as frequent as last year). We went to get done the adat which is sunnatana- simple-not-hurt- circumcision for our baby, Sophie. Usually for girl, this process is done before she reaches 5 years above (meaning do it at a very young age).

I have to elaborate more about circumcision in Islam. The most drastic form of female circumcision (infibulations) is known as the Pharaonic Procedure and it has been practiced long before the rise of Islam, Christianity and possibly Judaism. It is not clear, however, whether this practice originated in Egypt or in some other African countries then spread to Egypt.

There is, however, a more authentic Hadeeth in which Prophet Muhammad (P) is reported to have passed by a woman performing circumcision on a young girl. He instructed the woman by saying:

“Cut off only the foreskin (outer fold of skin over the clitoris; the prepuce) but do not cut off deeply (i.e. the clitoris itself), for this is brighter for the face (of the girl) and more favorable with the husband.”

Following Banjarian (Sophie’s is Banjarian since her babah’s ancestors were from Banjarmasin, Indonesia) tradition, before pursuing the circumcision, babies should have taken floral bath and thus a floral bath ceremony will be prepared. The water itself is mixed with few fresh flowers, and some scent of hand-made-perfume-oil and etc. Oh ya, Aira also joined the ritual since that day was also meant to do her hair cut and aqiqah ceremony. See these little angels in yellow cloths….

1feeding before bathing… a bottle of milk is a must!

2she was cranky – the wake-up-from-bed-mood

3asking her tok daddy (grandpa) to stop showering…hehehhe..look at her face..

4yah..moody-moody

7Done! yey…

Ok, in the next entry, I will tell further story about the Circumcision ceremony…
