Happy 25th Burfday Mama

Mama was juz arrived at home when surprisingly babah, Sophie and sister wish mama a happy 25th burfday (juz assume Sophie could do that). Unfortunately, not so many of our pictures could be taken as we were concentrating more on Sophie’s actions. With a very pale plus tired face, mama’s pictures look very hideous. Haha..

Sophie’s latest achievement

Basically, other than her major actions such as cooing, giggling, wiggling, kicking and being parallel on floor (meniarap- help me if there is any suitable words of meniarap in English, I cant find any! My English is so poor hehe) Sophie has become an expert in:

1. Stand up- moves up

She loves trying hard to move up like our actions to wake up after lying down. Unfortunately, she can’t finish doing the stand as her knee still soft. To support her strength-will, we just hold her left and right hand fingers then she moves up herself. Strong bones ya?

2. Understand Cause and effects

Sophie has beginning to understand cause and effect! We actually bought her a mobile fan that could be attached to her stroller. The mobile fan got fancy lights that attracts her glance every time she goes to bed. One day, we put Sophie in her crib and monitor her actions 5 meters away. Sophie was looking at the fan and her eyes crossed. Then she rubbed her eyes and brought her hand to the fan blades (the blades are actually made from soft materials). She was shocked! Few seconds later, we saw Sophie pointed out her index finger to the fan cautiously. SO SWEET! She learnt that if she put her fingers at the blades, she might get hurt and shock!

3. Making Bubbles and chewy-chewy

Yeah these are her recent habits in signs of ” I need a feeding bottle“. She chews like having taste of sweet Spearmint gum. Her saliva is the medium! She loves looking at bubbles soap blew by babah. Using that idea, she’s making her own!

4. The C-turn sleep style

Taking a nap is not a silence routine for Sophie, as she tends to move her body in C figure pattern. The first 5 minutes we’ll see her head on a pillow where else the 15 minutes later the pillow is already at her feet. So naughty wiggling-girl!

5. Cooing before sleep and giggling in sleep

before she sleeps; Sophie coos her own words like she is a Singing Idol contestant. This is not frequent, as she tends to coo when she is truly exhausted. Giggling in sleep is normal to every baby I guess.

6. Smile the extra mile, mimic a pity face

Lovely, she has totally understood to reply a smile back to us. If we smile, she smiles back. If we are making jokes and laugh, she laughs too. If she cries, we mimicking a mercy face, then she follows. Haha..

7. Love watching TV

Truly, television really attracts children. At her 2 to 3 months, Sophie loves watching Disney, CN and Nick channels. She can’t miss watching Jojo’s circus, Bob the builder and Mr. Spongeys and friends. Hmm, mama needs to find a study plan for her soon ya!

8. Support my back, I wanna sit. I’m a big baby

Sophie wants us to treat her like she can sit already. If watching TV, she doesn’t want to be put down, or in lay-down position. She wants to sit like us, so we have to support her back so that she can sit and watch TV. Try putting her down, she will cry to the highest keynote! Huhu..What a demand!

She will turn 4 months another 2 weeks. Hopefully she will be a brilliant- minded baby! Sophie..Sophie…mama and babah love you so much!

Ultraman Lives Action at Sungei Wang Plaza

Adam dan Babah

Recently, mama and babah took Adam and Aqil (sons of Kak Ida and Apek – -> Kak Ida was my former officemate in PacNet) pergi tengok real Ultraman exhibition at Sungei Wang plaza on 7 June 2008. A week before, babah asked mama to sms Kak Ida after he finished read The Star newspaper. He noticed the event from newspaper advertisement, I guess.

Babah wanted to bring Adam (his favourite kid) to watch real Ultraman actions. Babah likes Adam maybe because they both have similarities which is “hyper-naughty”. So looking at Adam will always remind his childhood time. Adam calls babah ‘Uncle’ dengan pelatnya yg berumur 4 tahun tuh.

We reached there as early at 1.00 pm. As Kak Ida’s car having problem, they only managed to be there at 2.30 pm. We had Mc D for lunch. Mama suka tengok little Aqil punya kerenah. Kejab ketawa pastu nangis. Mama dia nak makan pun susah, heheh. Kak Ida was busy entertaining both of her sons during that eating time thus made me wonder how it would be if I have a child soon?

The next exhibition started at 4.00 pm. The place was very crowded with children and their parents. They even started to queue at 3.30 pm just to snap picture with the ultraman (costumed-man). Unfortunately, we didn’t notice that we had to pay RM 12 to take picture with Ultramen. Since the queue was very long, we had to snap pictures out of the blue.

Adam was so fascinated that his eyes were wide open looking at the trios (Ultraman Max, Ultraman Nexus, and Ultraman Tiga). I believe babah too, was like obsessively happy. Ultramen actions were completely captivated to both of them. =) Adam didn’t want to go back home, as he wanted to be with Ultraman still. Puas kami pujuk barulah dia nak balik. That evening, we both spent our time at Kak Ida’s house.

What happen to our baby? She was safe and sound asleep. Three or four times only mama felt her kicking. On the way back home, babah said to baby, when baby grows up, Babah will bring baby to watch Barbie, Power puff Girl etc etc exhibition if any. Hehe. Baby kicked, hmm – -> she tends to agree! =)

The Final Week of 2nd Trimester ~ My Mood Swings =(

I am currently at 26 3/7 weeks of pregnancy. Look at above table; my last trimester will be on 6 June 2008, which is 4 days to go. OMG time has run so fast. In my last trimester, there will be more challenges in this mamahood journey. I can’t lie that my mood index has fluctuated! I discover that most women experience some mood swings during their pregnancy, so I am not alone. The hormones rolling like a Rollercoaster!!

My weekly pregnancy news advise me that it’s important to care for emotional health, just as much as physical health when pregnant. There are some suggested ways to make the roller coaster ride a bit smoother (which I’m planning to actively think of them in my final trimester).

• Record your fears, apprehensions, and frustrations in a pregnancy journal. (Hmm I did! This blog lah kan?)
• Photograph yourself each month for comparisons with previous months and future memories. (I’ve done as well hehe)
• Discuss your hopes, dreams, and fears about parenthood with your partner. Recall your own childhoods and discuss how you want your children’s lives to be similar or different. (The most attractive topic for myself.. I’ve chatted with friends all around since early pregnancy!)
• Envision how you’d like to give birth. Would you prefer to deliver at home, a birthing center, or at a hospital? (Obviously, I think about this everyday!)
• Decide who you’d like to be with you when you deliver. (Of course – -> babah)

What best about 2 3 days ago was –>tok mak and tok wan baby came to KL. We went to kenduri Pak uda in Cheras. My parents stayed with my eldest brother who lives in Mahkota Cheras. Yesterday, me and babah still got time to buy baby’s stuff again..hehe. We have used RM300.00 to buy her needs. So, baby’s things are almost complete! Tinggal nak beli stroller, bouncer, pampers, breast pump jer. The rest mama and babah dah borong sakan dah..hehhe..

Can’t wait to see our baby! Actually today, we should consult Dr. Norkedah. Mama just realized that our next appointment is today! Mana ada cuti sudah! So mama call Pusrawi to postpone the date..huhuhu.. Yang jadi masalahnya, mama schedule on 14 June (Saturday) instead of this coming Saturday (7 June) because itu hari Besday AGONG. So all gyneas not avail! The problem is Tok mummy baby urged us balik Sandakan on 14 June for upacara mandi keturunan. It’s not a superstitious agenda!! Mama respects their custom and this adat mesti kena ikuti!! Moreover, our baby is the first gem of babah’s family. Not only the most awaiting grandchildren, but baby also the first great grand child in their family.

huhuhu..Mama still blur…,malas nk pikir..sakit kepala huk huk..This additional issue that makes my mood swing from zero to super- hero-hyper- tension!

Go away Mr. Paranoid..=(

Today is 9 January 2008, means almost 12 days my menses say ‘bye bye’. Abruptly, I wonder am I pregnant or not? No more nausea, no more vomiting, no more frequent urination, no more motion sickness. Nothing to convince that I’m conceived. Sigh….

I wonder if hubby knows my sudden change emotion. I could be happy and sad at the same time, I easily got tempered and hypersensitive. Sometimes, I cry with no reason at all. What happen to me actually? No stability in the way of thinking. I become super paranoid with myself.

I don’t understand myself lately..

I behave like I’m nothing to me…

I don’t know what I feel now..

I just feel everything is blur and vague..

I need a light to show me the right way..

Calm me down…calm me down..

Prayer is always be the best remedy. I’m much wanted such alleviations of life … Go run Mr. Paranoid..dun again bother me.. =(
